Also did as much of my hunting log as possible on all classes and leveled up crafting as much as i care to for the time being. i had this done in p4 too so i haven't really been able to play all day

Yeah let's make our players wait even more... then after we "fix it" another problem will occur.

It's simple, implement the fix NOW so you can fix other problems that occur, why wait 4 hours when you've found something? "we don't want to do it during peak hours" is insanely stupid.
