The result was other than TEMP difference, my 1 full gen older GPU had same performance as newer GPU.
Ditto. During Phase 4. I was running stock. The restoration of my OC profile showed nil. My buddy is running max on an i3 and a 6850 GPU... He averages about 30-40fps but this is expected. I can safely rule out the HD as well... should anyone want to challenge me on that point lol. Initially had the game installed on a regular cavier blue 7200RPM drive just like all my other games. Decided after restoring my PC back to windows 7 last night to put it on my RevoDrive. No difference.

I think my only hope, along with others in this boat are drivers. Now... the only thing I cannot explain are those running the same drivers as me (latest certified) that are getting expected results... [I can only hope they are lying or the minor differences in setup are accountable...]

I'm having the same problem, it seems to only happen in the really crowded areas which might be why in the closed beta it wasn't as bad, I hope they do something about it eventually.

    My specs are:

    GPU: GTX 670
    CPU: i7 - 3770k @ 4.2ghz
    RAM: 8 GB @ 1866Mhz
    SSD: 256GB OCZ Vertex 4

So i shouldn't be having any problems fps wise.

Change your power options to high performance or go into your advanced settings and foruce your minimum cpu to 100%

control panel > hardware and sound > Power options > change plan settings > change advanced power settings > Processor power management > minimum processor state > change to 100%.

Just remember to turn it back to whatever your default is if you want after you stop playing.

I am afraid I do not see " minimum processor state" as an option. Is this a laptop specific setting?

I'm suffering from computer shut down atm,but no sign of over heating, very frustrating when there is no obvious problem lol. But I've just ordered some upgrades that will improve my FPS and overall performance.

    - CPU: Intel Core i5 4570 (Haswell) 3.2GHz Quad Core CPU with 3.6GHz Turbo enabled
    - Motherboard: MSI B85-G43 (Socket 1150) DDR3 Motherboard
    - RAM: 8GB 1600MHz Dual Channel DDR3 RAM
    - MSI GeForce GTX 670 OC Twin Frozr Power Edition 2048MB with NVIDIA: Splinter Cell Blacklist Game - FREE with NVIDIA GTX 660, 670, 680, 760, 770 & 780 graphics cards ONLY!!

I really do hope these new parts improve this game because it's beautiful to look at.

you might get the same performance if you just change your scheme to high performance.

I've tried everything possible to improve game performance but to no avail.Thing is,people with GTX 780 or GTX 670 in sli all complain of really poor FPS so it has to be something in the game somewhere.

Certainly sounds like a nice rig. What are you running now?

@Cakeythelie - Currently running at high performance. I am thinking the issue is away from power management.
