    Poor FPS with high-end rig?

In cities using the Standard graphics options, I get anywhere from 40-50 and 30-40 if I'm running on maximum.

My frames seem very jumpy and unstable.

    My specs are:

    GPU: GTX 670
    CPU: i5-3570k @ 3.4 ghz
    PSU: 750W
    RAM: 8 GB

    Is the game somewhat unoptimized?

I haven't read any complaints from others on this subject.

I would give it a bit of time. I remember in closed beta everything ran smooth but in open beta it bogged down some because of the sheer amount of people in the area all around me.

P.s. yeah the game is fairly demanding by itself without 100's of people in the city.

Course, you could still look into driver issues etc etc.
Well, I was receiving the same problem in closed beta as well.

I just assumed that I could be able to at least run the game at a solid 60 on Standard with my setup.

i have an even higher-rated machine including a GTX 760 superclocked edition (essentially a 770 GTX).
I have the same issue. Granted i have all settings overridden with nvidia settings , but yea, it didnt happen in beta, once they settle in and optimize all their crap itll get back to 61FPS, dont worry.

Odd, im running a pentium G860 3ghz and a 7850 sapphire OC and I had pretty good fps I believe at 1680-1050. If i was given the right code I could go in and check it myself right now to compare.

Are you running in windowed mode? If so switch to fullscreen and see if it improves.

hmm.. that is definitely odd. Might be some of the advanced graphics features mucking it up (shadows, glare, etc.) It's pretty smooth on this laptop(Asus G75VX ROG series) with a 670m and an i7 series CPU. Not running the high end profiles though. Try starting with the Standard Desktop Profile, and tweak from there to see if you can find what's making it go wonky.

I used the Standard Profile, then hid all Shadows (self, enemies, others), disabled Cascading Shadows, and turned off Glare Points. That should pretty much strip it down to where it might even run on Intel Graphics. With those settings on this laptop at 1920/1080 Full Screen, I broke 8k on the last benchmark tool they put out. Only thing I changed for the graphics card itself was to disable vertical synch before benching it.

    Exact same problem here.
P2~P3 was smooth as butter, haven't changed my rig and in P4 got a huge FPS drop and regardless of graphic configuration in-game. Maximum or minimum, the same FPS loss in random places, even in cutscenes with 2~3 NPCs just talking to each other.
In the old beta forum there was a rather large thread about this very same issue and I already saw 2~3 topics here about this.

Ok so I also have this issue on a 570gtx no matter what drivers I use. If I log out and then into windows it fixes the issue. Also, once the frame drop happens, it occurs on any game I run. See if you guys can confirm that issue. Windows 7 64 bit.

Try updating your graphics driver. Game was funky this morning but after my driver update it was 50-60 fps at all times,
