If your top nuke for a job (currently) has no place on your hotbar, then it is indeed broken. Elemental stats aren't all that broken ... they just don't scale that well, like all stats.

I have a low Ice stat for getting "delicious" from +potency food and the damage shows compared to my 100 Earth stat against a relatively similar leve mob (using their weak element).

Testing top damage range seems to work best (Profundity II/ Blood Rite II/ abusing weak element), all that really leaves for variables are INT/element stat.
