I'm currently on the Lamia server but I'm willing to switch over and I can try to get to level 50 in a week. Do you require all apps to be level 50?

If you have a solid set of raid experience behind you in other games and are willing to play warrior, throw in an app. We'd love to chat.

I got quite a bit of experience in raiding specially in WoW. I was part of a top 50 guild and was maining a DPS. Raided in WoW all the way to Mist of Pandaria and quit right when they released 5.2. I simply got bored of it and decided to wait for a new MMO and this was it. I was pretty much 100% attendance back then. This was my guild back then:

Currently though, I would prefer to play DPS as that was what I specialized in. I was usually top DPS 90% of the time and I loved learning the mechanics and mastering maximizing DPS on all encounters. I want to do that again in this game and I was hoping to find a guild that raided between 8-12pm PST. I'll throw in an app, but I would prefer to play a DPS class if ever there is still a spot open for an exceptional experienced raider

A bit of a dilemma. If ever my app there should be accepted, should I reroll and start from level 1 and power level myself to 50 on that server or do you think I should continue my current character in Lamia until server transfers are available? Should give me more time to gear up and stuff if I continue and wait for server transfers rather than releveling all over again.

You are indeed entitled to hold that opinion of the end-game raiding scene, vitriolic as the opinion may be.

I've always thought that everyone plays games for different reasons, from casual play and discovery to being the top of the top. That goes for every game that I've played or even heard of in the MMORPG Genre especially and it's not limited to that Genre at all! You know whats great about Paradigm though: They want to clear raid content and they want the challenge that the game gives them, however unlike 90% of WoW Guilds of this caliper they are not "Elitist", they don't shame on you or anyone else that plays this game just because they aren't playing it the way they are, something that was lost within WoW during the Burning Crusade Era amongst those Top Players people started to accept that as a way to act.

The worst part is that you are Stereotyping someone for a game that they played, what is wrong with them coming from a World of Warcraft background? They enjoy Final Fantasy XIV: ARR, I'm not sure why you would think they would say "Final Fantasy isn't for you" doesn't really seem like something anyone but a "/sh" troll would say. In the end this game is very much like my extensive experience of World of Warcraft: Classic which I started playing Phase 3 Closed Beta for, it's not an easy game and the fun comes from the fact that it isn't an easy game. I would also like to say that I'm not trying to tell you that you can't have this opinion but I was just reading the forums before I logged in to start leveling some more and I'm just curious as to "Why" you have this opinion? Seems completely out of the blue.

Enough. Everyone is entitled to their opinion (english or not), please do not derail the purpose of this thread.

We are actively seeking more like minded individuals who would like to see endgame progression, crafters/gatherers, laid back, intelligent & cool social members, as well as backup raiders for our free company.

It's been fun talking with quite a few of you guys who hit me up in game over the last few days and have been tuning into my stream! I look forward to getting to know more of you guys and running some stuff together.
