Who Are You Guys Anyway?

Paradigm is comprised of a wide variety of hand picked, long time MMO players ranging from all backgrounds and games with 1 thing in common, being among the very best players from their respective games. Our leadership has had numerous Top 10 US clears and even some world 1st kills throughout the many years of World of Warcraft.

The majority of our group is in their mid to late twenties with real life obligations such as work, school & family. Because of this our raid schedule is very light, spanning 4 days and totaling 11 hours per week! Don't get confused though, I promise you we are the most dedicated 11 hour per week guild in this game! Even though our raiding schedule doesn't compare to those guilds who raid 20+ hours a week, our goals are no less! Our focus is hardcore endgame progression leading into server first clears of all raid content.

Good question. A guild is nothing without it's members. We're always looking for top tier players to join in our fiesta. Due to our light raid schedule our recruitment process is highly selective. We need to make sure that the players we bring in are capable of jumping into raid content blind folded and getting it cleared ASAP within our allotted time schedule.

Player skill is not the only attribute of a player we judge but also their personality. While we are structured and have high end raid goals in mind, we do not compromise the social environment of the guild. We do not tolerate elitism, jerks, trolls, douchebags or other unpleasant personalities. The ideal applicant is one who's background in MMO's is lengthy, who's confident in their abilities and who's personality is very welcoming and friendly.

If you want to experience raid content first & tackle the challenges of being server first with some of the greatest gamers around, have some fun in the process & not burn out on the game raiding 40 hours a week, then we might just be able to fit the bill.

I don't mean to be an ass, but isn't it kind of hypocritical to say you don't allow elitism, but yet you only allow the "elite" players to join your FC?

These guys are elite players, but their attitudes are far from it. I have been on their forums, they communicate very well together and help each other out to no end.

NP, I'd be glad to explain. Elitism is a horrible mentality that is always around in MMO's. It's when you think everyone that's not apart of your guild are peons. That you're the best thing around and everyone else is trash. Being elitist is just more of a gameplay style. To conquer endgame content at a rapid pace you need players who are elite, that doesn't mean those players need to be douchebags.

We don't conduct such behavior (elitism) in Paradigm and would much rather make friends than have the entire server hate us. Hope that clarifies!
