to expand on my previous comment:

It's not about making the game FFXI-2. The issue so many players have with XIV is that they didn't add anything to the game that made XI a fun game. It has caused this game to be utterly boring and players like you are in the minority so no, it is not your game. If SE made your game they would have to shut down the servers from lack of revenue.

Who do you think makes up so much of the current players that are still playing? Why would so many people stick around this game when it's so bad? It's people who have played FFXI that are hoping the devs snap out of it and take this game into the direction it should have went in the first place.

We're not all asking for a FFXI-2. We just want better environments, some sort of party driven aspect, a sense of adventure, and that feeling of success when you do something that not everyone can. I don't honestly get why anyone would be against that, and I don't get why anyone who is would bother playing an MMO.

No one is trying to take away the enjoyment of the game from other players. They can keep on soloing leves and minor quests if they want, but the rest of the player base should not be forced to solo missions and partake in mind numbingly simple party play just because others don't want to play a multi-player game with anyone else.

SE isn't going to expand it's MMO catalog by coddling the player base.
