Who is Praetor Lupus?

We are a multi-gaming community, which was born from the game Defiance. We came together in another clan and with a solid core decided, we wanted to break off and do our own thing. After a large amount of deliberation we decided on our new name Praetor Lupus.

We have a mixture of EU and US players. However; we mostly play around GMT peak times and are all English speakers, with age ranging from 18 up to 50. You will find a wide range of people from very different walks of life, the things that bond us are simple. Gaming & Fun.

One thing that is very important here is a thick skin. as banter comes flying at you thick and fast and the conversation is fairly blue. As such people either love us and fit in easily or get offended and leave fairly quick.

Just a few points!

Due to the nature of our community and some of the conversations that do randomly appear, we do ask that each person that applies to Praetor Lupus, be at least 18 years old. We require this not because of maturity as most
of the time we like to act a bit immature as it brings out the kid within you and you get to have a bit more fun. However; it's due to issues with parents or guardians if they overhear a conversation and get a bit upset about what is
being said by their child or by us. So we are just protecting the community and it's members.

As Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn is a cross platform game, we don't have any problems with having Playstation 3 players join our little gaming community. One thing we do ask is that you obtain Teamspeak to
communicate with us. If you don't own a PC/Laptop/Mac, you can download the Teamspeak app for your smartphone.

Of course PC/Mac users should get Teamspeak or should already have it installed to join our server and get to meet everyone.

We don't really have any ranks within the community (apart from on Teamspeak), but there are a set of council members, who do have the last say on important topics. These are normally to do with the website/forums, giving away free games and of course the inviting or removal of new members. As we do play a lot of games, you are never forced to play something you don't want. You join and play whatever game you want and of course you can follow us to new titles when they are released or inform us of something cool that is being released as we are always up for trying something new.

A quick update!

I had a conversation with the council members about the possibility of gaining a lot new members and we have decided to relax our rule of people needing to be at least 18 years old to apply. We just request that you show a level of maturity and that you are able to handle the conversations and banter, that is thrown around by everyone. We just want to avoid people throwing a tantrum by what someone has said towards them in jest.

Also in regards to the possibility of new incoming members, we just want to apply 1 week trial as we do have a close family feel within our community, so we don't want to add any aggravation with people being idiots, if you know what I mean. Also the 1 week trial is there to see if you personally would feel at home with Praetor Lupus and of course for us to make sure that you aren't going to be a thorn in our sides.

So again if you want to apply, please go ahead and submit your applications.

I joined a few days ago and I'm loving the people in the clan, they're now like a second family to me. They help with any problems and give you info on anything if you need it. Great bunch and the banter in Teamspeak is hilarious . Wouldn't change them for the world. LOVE YOU GUYS! xD

Really fun community with a carefree attitude and a willingness to work together so that we can all enjoy our game-time together.

Recommended for anyone that enjoys their banter as much as they enjoy playing games as part of a dedicated community.

We have a strong presence over a number of titles, besides FFXIV ARR, a group on Facebook and Steam for members. We also have some of the strangest members you could ever wish to meet!

Just for the information of people looking for new communities/guilds. We never close our application/recruitment section. We are mainly a gaming community and not just a guild, but we wouldn't say no to people who just want to play Final Fantasy. Just remember that if you don't put the effort into your application and just want some place to get the 5% XP Boost you will not get accepted.

So make sure you think about your application and what you personally want from the time you spend ingame.
