Give US/EU more servers! JP Do not need 25!

U guys must understand, theres JP servers and a wierd thing called "over seas" that only give problems.

Ok with the past 2 maintenance's its been painfully obvious only the JP servers aren't being taken down along with ours...

This isn't some "JP ONLY" bash thread but...

Why does Japan have the exact same amount of servers, as the rest of the world (25)?


Are more people in Japan playing XIV than the rest of the world? Clearly not since they are the only functional servers right now..

How about this: Lower Japanese servers to 5, give us the other 20. Otherwise tuesday is going to be a complete disaster when we see a huge influx of new players... Japan really doesn't need 25 servers. Or take the naming off them completely so more new players will go to the JP servers.

Oh really you think a Japanese game have more playerbase outside of Japan. They probably not having the same problem as we are because they servers are in house compared to ours across the world.

The number of servers in the JP data center appears to be sufficient. They need to add 5-10 more servers to NA/EU data center this weekend, and if it stays busy across the board in a month after release (after 2nd month payments are made for new accounts) then add more.

Well I being having tons of error since Beta, so I decided to do another Char in a Jap Server,they run incredible, no lag, almost no people actually. The difference is clear compare to the usa servers. If anyone is interested we are in Fenrir. /tell <---

To all of you complaining about how smooth and awesome the JP servers are and how the NA is shite because SE hates us:

Do you really think it is a fair comparison to stack our NA server, during it's peak hours, to that of a JP server on it's quiet time? You do realize there is a massive time difference, right? Of course it's going to seem emptier, smoother, less congested if you hop on during the day here.

Except that alot of them will be like us and be up at like 5 AM all day to play a game they've been anticipating the moment it's opened. So the point you make is moot.

It was mentioned JP servers came down earlier. Now, I really don't care enough to verify this myself, so you may want to. But hey, lets all just keep assuming the JP servers are perfect. Makes for better rants that way.
