    Friend locked out of account, no longer has access to e-mail

    My friend was locked out of their Square Enix account after trying to log in from a relative's house and no longer has access to the email they used to sign up for the account. Is there any way to change the email address? The following is a message from my friend who is having the account issues:

    I'm stuck at a catch-22 where my SE account, cobault, has been suspended because I used the account on another computer. On the other hand, I can't correct this issue on my own because my account email had been terminated due to being hacked and corrupted years ago. (At least, I assume this email is the one connected to my account, since I have checked my other emails and none have recieved anything from SE when I try to correct the suspension issue)
    I also want to have my account email changed to my current one. I would really like to have this account available to me, because I played FFXIV version 1 and would like to keep my account's perks.

    I also submitted two tickets to customer service a few days apart. It said in an email that they would reply in up to two days, but it's been over a week now and I would actually like to be able to play FFXIV when it comes out. My ticket numbers are 2507971 and 2533075.

    I would really like help on this. I can't log into anything Square-Enix related because of the account suspension so I am having my friend post on my behalf. If you wish to contact me directly, email me at violet_canis@hotmail.com and I can give you any information you require.

    I would suggest him calling the Customer Support line First thing Monday Morning before they get flooded. They should be able to verify him off of the credit card used for the account or subscription

    This is why I make it a habit to change my important account emails immediately if my main email ever changes. If you pay for it or value you it, change it immediately. Then stuff like this happens. But Ratsle is right, call Customer Support. Though they said that they were opening this weekend, not the week. Who knows..

    Neither of us even thought of calling the support line. Thanks for the suggestion, that's probably the best bet.

    support line is closed this weekend? My boyfriend is locked out of his account. He registered 2 days ago, & his account says he did, but the launcher says there isn't an active account & it says his # has already been used...he emailed a ticket, but who knows what will happen. Me? I'm getting an error code when trying to log in...I'm frustrated. This isn't beta anymore. I paid for this...

    The support line opens at 9am PST on Monday, and you're getting an error because the servers are down for maintenance.
