Thread: My 1.0 Character is Still Missing

Since Beta Phase 3; my 1.0 Character has been missing from my in-game account. While he was there on my service account during Phase 3; I had opted to server transfer him when it was available.

Before phase 4 though; He disappeared from my service account completely and while playing phase 4 he was not on any realm on my account.

On Friday I called customer support and was on the phone with them for several hours as my call was escalated. I was eventually called back twice on Friday to be told that the GM team was looking into it and he would be restored before Early Access and to call on Monday to check up on the process.

Monday came and I called and was told to wait till Early Access. Yet each day up until today I checked my account services under FFXIV and my 1.0 character did not show up.
Now today he is still missing and I have sent in yet another support ticket. But given e-mail support's week long replies.. I will likely have to call support on Monday for an immediate answer.

This ordeal has frustrated me since the third week of phase 3 and it's greatly upsetting to know my character is lost and probably forgotten to be retrieved by the GM team who was assisting in the effort.

His name was Tovu Marack; Male Elezen with Gridania starting area on the Ridill world. And I wanted him to be on Balmung.. but now he seems to be lost in limbo. Is there anything being done to help myself and those who are having this problem with lost 1.0 characters?

Also.. I only have one FFXIV service account so the idea of him being on another account is not possible.

This ordeal is causing me extreme stress and frustration with the lack of response to my open tickets. It's even more frustrating that it has been going on since they allowed 1.0 characters to be used in Phase 3. And I could not join on my 1.0 character because he disappeared.
Even more frustration has been added when I was told that the problem would be fixed before Early Access and it has not been.

Please tell me I am not the only one experiencing this issue.
