And not just talking about NM, talking about all combat in general. Never said I was the only mage, and if it's close to 'demanding' it's still not demanding.

Well with no direction to who you were speaking to and posting right after my own gave very little indication, other than myself, to whom it was you were speaking to. This does not, however mean that just because some people agree with you, that it really is a problem. You have a choice on how to play this game and who to play this game with. it's not an mp regen issue, its a user issue.

Pretty sure the MP regen change was added because people complained about being unable to regen MP, and is just another one of the ways they're dumbing down the game for bad players. It has no reason to exist, no one went oom before. I can't even say you have to be AFK to go oom now, because you regen mp while afk ... :/

MP regen is awesome.

Other MMOs make your character sit, drink or some other nonsense. I don't care if it's more "realistic": I leveled a spellcaster to CAST SPELLS, not wave a stick at enemies on end.

The new mana regen actually allows me to cast spells without worrying about running out of mana every 5 minutes and having only a 10 minute cooldown to reacquire it.

I also like the current MP regeneration feature. I never liked having to go back to the aetheryte crystal or wait for long cooldowns to regenerate my MP. Also, I don't want to have to rest like I had to in FFXI.

I've never had to stop and regen mana during a fight. Stop being bad and learn how to play the class.

Did you not read the original post? It said I heard other people doing this, not that I was. Every group I've been in has told me I was a pretty good mage so don't start with me being a bad mage. It's all about skill and managing things right. Especially in short frequent battles, people have no regard for spells... Especially would make no sense to have this because people are claiming atteibutes are gimped and need to be stronger... Just sayin

I don't think he was saying you were bad. I think he was directing that statement in general to people that stop and put away their weapon to regen mp.

The simple solution is to not allow mana regen while you still have hate of any kind.

I agree that you shouldn't be able to regen whilst in battle though, which shouldn't be hard to implement.
