I do think agree on this. I also think that you shouldn't regen as fast as hp does. I still think managing mp is important in battle. The only time it really is important right now is during NM

Yeah, no mp regen during battle is a good compromise.
We'll see how things pan out with these 8 man restrictions now. My guess is that we're going to be dropping the number of mages in each fight to compensate, putting them on the doubletime duty they are honestly capable of.
Might re-insert some sort of challenge to being a mage again. I know I can solo heal at great buffalo.
While engaging a NM, Siphon MP is not enough (trust me I know from experience). With the new party sizes that will be implemented in the new patch MP regen will be needed. Once they fix the Ancient Spells mages will burn through their MP, considering you have to pump it up with regular spells (for Flood use water based spells prior to timer going off). I have been waiting for MP Regen since I started back in October, and this is one thing they will not get rid of.
So you actually prefer the mechanic of using a big spell then doing nothing while your mana regens? If i had mana problems id want an active method of managing it.While engaging a NM, Siphon MP is not enough (trust me I know from experience). first, i do not want to run to an aetherite every time i get out of mana. secondly, yes, thaumaturges have a lot of mana regen skills, but conjurors have less. third, deadrising, stop making everyone who disagrees with you into your enemy. you opened this thread to debate. so let people debate without being hurt every time someone disagrees.
Did you not read the entire thread? Oh and it's DeadRiser... I'm no video game
If they removed it, someone would complain, if they leave it in, someone will complain, if they choose a third road compromise, both those people will complain including some new people who weren't complaining either way before.
There is no solution, only more or less people complaining, or maybe always the same amount just different people.
It wasn't earth shattering then and it isn't earth shattering now. Adjust.
