QUEUE is Failing / Error 1017

I got 1017 several times today, tried during the morning, during the evening, and nothing. I've only been able to play for TWO hours since I bought the game, and had to play separated from my friends since their world got full before I could get it, and now I can't play even in the world I created my character. I don't even know how it is to be queued, only seen 1017 so far. C'mon, I finally got some free time in my hands, wanted to play all day long, now it's already midnight in here and I haven't been able to login not even once today

i guess we must be pationet until they fix this this week, i have the same issue, but i can log in just fine during the day only at peak hours the error ocurs.

Had the same issue yesterday for a short while on the Anima server (Later logging into it worked again) and the Moogle server (Still the same error message).

Had the same issue last night.. Couldnt log into Ultros server. It kept saying the world is full and it automatically takes me back to the starter screen. Never even added me to the queue so I eventually gave up trying ... Haven't been able to play yet due to this issue :c Only managed to create my character.

I tried to log in 10 minutes after the maintenance ended and I got 1017 again, how small is the server capacity?? How could the server (Shiva) get foul in just 10 minutes??

6a.m. EST after downtime and I am getting spammed with 1017? LOL!

It's only about about say nearly 30 mins after the maintenance on Odin. I'm getting 1017 constantly? I don't understand was everyone with their launchers at the ready to press play? This is the fifth day now that I've had to deal with this.. I know it's typical launch problems but it's just wow.. Can't wait for you guys to open more servers. ^^

Why does this error even exist :S can't they just implement a queue for the server that ACTUALLY works?
