i love how the NA/EU login servers have crashed, so we can't even populate the server lists. Took a look at the important notices, and look, square is completely ignoring NA/EU players; there are no posts about it. Completely ignored.


I wonder if the game would still be a success without any players outside of JP?

I'm trying to think of any reason why people will want to even give this a shot considering the trouble they have had the past few days.

Seriously, it's amazing how incompetent they are, i don't know why i even thought this would be different after their first disgrace, i should of learned my lesson the first time around. Unreal, paying for a game TWICE and still can't play it. Unbelievable.

I wonder if maybe SE is selectively not letting people on who played during beta testing or early access to make room on the servers for new players for launch today - there's no way the worlds are full.....character creation was stopped on my world a while ago.

And feel free to correct me if I'm wrong....any new players who haven't played the betas or early access having trouble?

sadly this is not the case i have 3 friends who were in the beta/ER that spammed the login and got in like 5 hours ago on balmung

No, it's amazing how incompetent(learn to spell) people like you are. Every MMO has issues at launch, every MMO has connectivity issues even after launch when they release a major patch/expansion. I hate to bring up WoW, but look at it's launch. It was the worst in the history of the genre, but look at it today, it's the most popular in the whole freaking world, even after the fail of cataclysm.

Give them time to fix the problems. There will likely be a patch soon that resolves it.

Hey Genius, i did spell it right, maybe you should learn to read or shall i look up the definition for you. I've played a ton of MMO's at launch and this one by FAR is the worst. I played WoW at launch, i could at LEAST play the game. Even if there is a que i don't mind, but they have LOCKED me out for a game i paid for. I have not been able to play for 3 straight days, for a game they sold and happily took my money for. That is 100% PURE INCOMPETENCE. Next time you tell me to learn how to spell please feel free to first read correctly. Thanks.

HAH, if you played wow at launch, you wouldn't have been able to play. That game critically failed so often it was unplayable for a long time. The error is a result of max capacity being reached on the server AND the queue. They'll fix it, give it time. I apologize for misreading your spelling. My mistake. But they will fix it. Likely they will simply add an auto-disconnect feature so the servers don't stay maxed.
