Chocobo Whistle glitch?

Okay, so I got my chocobo and the choco whistle to summon it. I set the whistle into my hotbar (as I did in P3) so that I could summon it as the push of a button. So I go into the field, press the button, and my chocobo whistle gets used as if its a consumable. Chocobo does not get summoned, and the chocobo whistle is no longer in my inventory. No I have to go find out where to get a replacement? Lovely.....-.-

Look in the actions menu under mounts. There should be a summon chocobo skill you can put on your hotbar. Hope that helps.

u don't use whistle to summon anymore. there is a companion button on ur character sheet(looks like a lil chocobo). click it and it brings up all the companion options, inlcuding summon mount.
