Something really needs to be done about this. I'm with EE/Orange.

Ditto to all the above.
Peak time is the only time for players working normal hours, so this needs to be resolved as quickly as possible.
-bump-
I'm getting very severe lag at the moment also, it's making the game completely unplayable, and as a working person I can't very well justify paying to play a game if lag prevents me from playing in the hours that I have available.
Please sort it ASAP, SE!
To all the EE people, I say go punch Kevin Bacon in the face.
He's busy doing his conga line, and going on about how big and fast they are, yet here you are suffering from small print!
been with BT ever since I can remember, this sort of problem is a first, not entirely sure it's indeed an ISP problem, but would like SE to find a solution since this is unplayable.
BT customers that either took out a contract or renewed their existing contract after February 2013 and are on the BT Infinity 2 or above service most likely wont have this issue as it was at that time that the T&Cs were changed to remove P2P throttling. For everyone else all we can do it just make sure that SE and BT are aware of the issue so that it can get fixed asap.
EE customers are affected too Klera, as EE uses the line/fibre from BT. Lets hope someone sees this and gets some action taken or quite a few of us will have a game we cant play at our peak time, which for some people will mean not at all!
"Your former glories and all the stories, dragged and washed with eager hands..but oh your city lies in dust my friend!"
As i'm typing this i still haven't disengaged from talking to the npc and it's been 5 minutes. This really is an issue that needs to be solved.
Gave up on playing today...
I will now lodge a ticket with square :/ and refer them to this page.
BT/Orange/EE is indeed treating this game as a P2P client and severely crippling our ability to play this game during peak times.
I have not had this problem with other games apart from Rift, but that was fixed.
The results of a Glasnot test I just performed (http://broadband.mpi-sws.org/transparency/):
