Did you play during 1.0? As I understand it, only 1.0 players are able to claim the preorder items during Early Access. The rest of us have to wait until the 27th to claim our items.

I believe that is erroneous. I am a legacy player who has yet to receive my items. We should get them on the 27th with everyone else.

You receive them on the 27th through the Moogle service in game.

If that's incorrect, then I apologize. There was as thread on the beta boards where it was mentioned that 1.0's would get access to the items. I thought it was confirmed but I may have misread. It's been a long week.
