Ive left a post on EE's page on FB, they responded last time assuring me it was being passed on to the relevant team.
Can i again refer this to you http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...o-attacks-work It appears you are STILL shaping internet traffic between 7pm and midnight for this game when your advertising says you actually boost gaming priority in the evening. Yes its only a game but i pay a monthly sub to play it and currently i cant due to the combined internet traffic shaping policy by yourselfs and BT.
"Your former glories and all the stories, dragged and washed with eager hands..but oh your city lies in dust my friend!"
this is my responce from bt broadband help desk (i dont pay for the tech option)
Soumojit Bose: Mr. Brown I would like to inform you that we from the BT Broadband Technical helpdesk do not have expertise on the gaming issue and please also note that BT does not throttle speed on the broadband line.
for me also this happened AFTER the maintenance everything was fine prior, no issues with the game, what so ever.

Sigh.
Same problems here. Had no issues previously.
Im with EE, it was fine in open beta.
This is on Cactuar server :/
Hopefully square will get it fixed. When Rift contacted EE/BT they were able to get it fixed, so square should be able to. It was pretty widespread after awhile in rift...
If this is the problem of course. My problem is worse in cities, i cant talk to npcs and if i do i get locked for 5-10 minutes before it says 'error executing command' and then i can move again.
This is really kind of game-breaking.

I'm having the same problem. It's like lag and it take the server like 30 seconds to register the commands I'm doing. It is NOT my connection, I logged onto another game to check and that's fine.
Sucks that it is a Saturday today though... and Monday is a bank holiday ='(
I checked out EE's support section, and sent them a message describing the problem, pointing out that according to their terms of use only firesharing should be affected by network throttling, and linked them to this thread. Now to wait and see if they respond.
Also having the same problem on BT non-fibre, was fine until after maintenance.
Had this issue all through the beta...Had hoped it would of been fixed by now.
Threads about it on BT forums:

Don't know who needs to fix this, whether SE need to get in contact with BT or if BT need to pull their fingers out and stop flagging this game from throttleing (I think its the second option). I just hope something gets done to fix this as the game is unplayable during peak hours for a very large percentage of the UK.
The exact same thing happened to me in both beta 2 and 3, after a maintenance the game became unplayable.
