Yes it makes it unplayable and it's key dungeon/raid time (meaning guilds won't want me for raiding lol) kinda important,
Got lag in phase 3 parts 1-3 in the evening on part 4 there was no lag at night then phase 4 there was again and again now in headstart so disappointing what are we to do?

Yes, I'm on Orange as well. It started for me pretty much exactly at 7pm. I did a speedtest and I'm getting nearly 9mb download and 1mb upload speed, so that doesn't seem to be the problem. I reckon it will stop sometime around 10.
Surely there is something we can do? This makes the game completely unplayable!

Interesting, I too am getting this.
I've got it in South Shrouds and New Gr.. dia however it is spelt =)

I also have BT internet, though this has only occurred since logging back in after maint.

I don't think it's the ISP, just try playing another online game and it's clear connection isn't the problem.

The reason that the connection is so patchy is because BT count it as a P2P connection. The exact same thing happened with Rift in beta except it was much more widespread so it was solved much earlier. It can be easily fixed by Square getting in contact with BT which is exactly what BT support suggests when you contact them.

Can confirm this issue too, problems in phase 3 and 4 with the game becoming unplayable after 7pm every night...Problem resolves itself around midnight. Im with EE, and i contacted them who said they'd pass info on to the relevant team. Guess nothing is being done. As of now, game is unplayable, takes 5 mins or so for an npc to respond to a click, 5 mins for an ability to fire off etc.

Surely its not up to us to tell SE to contact BT - Didnt Yoshi say something that he'd personally written a letter to be sent to all ISPs before the release of ARR.

but it didn't happen for the open beta, which I can only assume had more players than early-access.

*EDIT: okay apparently it did happen for some, anyway this is a first for me... so if it is an ISP issue it's selective, since it was fine before with more players.
