    Unable to Summon Mount

    So I am level 31 just started the main quest line again...got my whistle...
    put my chocobo mount on my action bar...tried to get the mount and I got this message

    Unable to summon mount...why would SE give me the whistle yet I can't summon the mount??? is it a bug or am I doing something wrong?

    Did you use the whistle as an item first? It will disappear after use and then you go to Mounts and add to action bar. You also can't summon mounts in the main cities.

    Edit: I forgot to mention that you will need to unlock your GC mounts again. Do the main quest scenario until you join a GC to unlock it again.

    Not sure why SO many people are confusing summon for riding/calling etc.
    Key words people, OP said summon, as in he wants to call it out to fight with him.
