    Macro/Gamepad *HELP NEEDED*

I finally made it to level 30 (thank god) and now I am trying to make a good key config setup.

I've noticed that with the gamepad I keep, accidently pressing R1, causing me to switch hotkeys. The question is: Can i switch R1 for L1? whereas I have to press L1 to switch different hotkeys. This flaw happens when I switch targets. (i find myself cycling right 10x more than left)

Secondly, is their a macro that targets the nearest enemy but want keep switching to a closer one? where it attacks without being targeted to it, but it wont switch to a later target mid battle?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

And if anyone is in need of a Scholar (lev 30 atm) and plays on Behemoth. hmu, Venustus Rose.

I have the same issue with targeting. Selecting one target and attacking, then switching targets mid attack results in you hitting the new target once, then you switch back to the first target. This to me is more of a game mechanic issue than a controller macro issue. The only solution I have found is to press the O button or B on the xbox controller to deselect everything, then hit right or left to select target and start attacking, this allows you to keep attacking the same target. If you want to switch targets before the first one is dead, deselect before selecting the new one. Its a pain, but i've gotten use to it that I dont notice as much.

It would be much better to just select target, attack, switch target admist attacking and start attacking new target. Hopefully the devs will iron out this wrinkle.

I dont know of a way to switch r1 and l1.

There is no need to deselect everything. Try to switch target on mob B while attacking mob A, and press the "Confirm" button ("X" on PS3), you will switch target to mob B permanently (well, until you switch again to something else...)

Yes, this is actually a great feature if you use it properly. It allows you to have a target and subtarget, or I call it a hard target and a soft target. If you target A and then change to B without confirming, then you will do one move to B and it will autoswap you to back to A. Very useful for a tank. But if that isnt what you want, be sure to confirm your selection!

    you can use

    /tenemy

    or

/bt if you want to only target something targeting you... or did they get rid of bt?

    or

/nt im not sure on specifics of this but gets a new target that isnt your current target

Where is the official macro list!?
