Just curious of we aren't maybe suffering a similar situation like we ran into with XI were superseded data was still being left on the drive? The DAT folder is pushing 8.3GB already...up nearly 2GB from the initial Beta4 pull. Was just enough of an increase to push my backup image onto a second BD-RE disk even with Max Compression--and this is a new system I got the day before Beta4 opened. I've spent a lot of time the last two weeks cleaning this beast out (even removed Win8 Features with payload and ran DISM to cleanup WinSXS), and had it down to roughly a 21GB backup before this last patch.

Looks like it's time to invest in another USB drive just for backing this beast up...optical isn't going to cut it at this rate--unless I want to move to rewritable dual layer and let it run all freaking night. |Thanks for the offer, but I'll have to pass|.

Just a heads up SE... might want to verify that garbage collection is working properly here...or we may run into a big problem down the line.
