Ps3 user: How do you log out of the log in screen?

Every time I quit, or as of late, get booted out of the game, it goes back to the Log in website screen, which is ok, but I can't get back to the PS3 menu without hitting the reset switch on the console itself. The PS button will not function at that website log in screen, and there are no buttons I can see on that screen that will get me out of it and back into the PS3 menu.

Any ideas why? or was it just an oversight?

Hold the ps button on your contoller for a few seconds and it will pop up a screen for quit game/contorller setting/turn off the system/turn off the controller simply select quit game

If you keep the PS-Button pressed for two seconds or so it will work. You can then exit the game or shutdown the console from the Login Screen.

Thanks for the quick reply guys! And now I guess I can smack myself in the head over that one lol. I was so used to just pressing it quickly to get out of games.

lol np it seems to be dumbfounding allot of people got some texts from some friends asking the same question.. its rare for ps3 users to have to use the hold button so we as a whole arent used to it.. we are used to our good ol xmb menu
