Would like to point some of those issues you mentioned are not even Square's fault. For example the cinematic issue with half being displayed. That was a horribly done security update by Microsoft involving video securities. It is not just this games cinematics that were affected by this.Smoothly? lol..
Nothing has gone smoothly about the release of this game.
Redeeming codes was messed up.
Beta codes were messed up.
Registration was messed up.
Characters were lost.
People spent hours and hours in 300 people chat ques, just to get kicked out of que.
Email support did not respond for WEEKS to problems in email.
Phone support went to a BUSY SIGNAL?!
Open beta was down for half the time with game breaking bugs..
Half the cinematics is all some people can see.
"Some" would be plural.Would like to point some of those issues you mentioned are not even Square's fault. For example the cinematic issue with half being displayed. You pointed out one..
Just sayin...lol
Don't get all bent out of shape people.
The game is going to be great when they iron the bugs out.
Just hang in there..
We hung in there this long.
Side note:
Am I crazy or do some of these posts, seem like they must be from people,
who work at SE or something?
Just the wording alone is suspect.
Then you throw in the post count
Why would someone make this topic their very first post?
It makes no sense.
They obviously came to the technical section of these forums for a reason..
Registered for a forum account for some reason, other than to post in this topic..
Why would the first post be here of all places?
Makes absolutely no logical sense to me. XD

Yes I did only point out one, that is why it is an example and not a complete list. Examples are commonly to demonstrate not detail everything.
What I do not get is people complaining now so late in the game with program development that in large part Production in lue of testing (Pilot) has become so common practice that when I have to work with 3rd parties for my software development I have to fight them for a true development environment.
If you want attack someone why not go after the bigger fish that made this kind of practice a normal trend. Square is simply following a practice that has been going on and as game console advance to were they continue designing beyond the finished product PILOT will continue to happen.
It's a norm in software you really going to have to get use to or find a way turn the practice around as a whole among just about every company.
To further my meaning on it. You buy Microsoft OS and have they ever released one without security missing in the begining? For some reason they seem to think leaving that for last is ok.
Same stuff is continuously happening with network development and more. Your purchase only amounts to buying what is considered a "stable" product by given parameters, never truly a complete product.
Product by now is only truly complete when it has reached "End-of-life" status were whatever flaws still exists are going to remain because not a single person is really going to continue maintaining it.

LOL. If you knew how poorly maintained Blizzard's servers are you wouldn't be saying that. There's a reason Blizzard shuts servers down for 12 hours at a time, meanwhile, other MMOs have their servers up within hours.
