Thread: PS3 and PC on same account?

In the rush to play, I think I royally screwed myself - the PS3 network ID is connected to my SE account so when I connected the accounts to my PS Network so my husband could make his character, did I just lock my access from PC?

I don't have early access since I didn't hit 3 months on v 1.0 so I can't log in to see if my P4 beta information is accessible.

I should have created a new account on the PS3 and THEN connected to his PSN ID, right? I'm kinda super mad lol shouldn't do things as soon as I wake up.

bumping this up, I really need an answer before I purchase another game.

Actually I'm a legacy player and i did the same thing on Phase 4 (only because my brother was hogging the Alienware and i was fed up).
But the only characters that were transferred were the 2 characters I created on P4 (Masamune & Tonberry Server) but not my Legacy character (Ragnarok server).

So I'm in a slump if i royally screwed myself as well because of that =/?

Ok on the last day of beta 4 I was one of the lucky people who got disconnected and then received a message that I was still logged in. So since I had a PS3 code I decided to try that. I remember them asking if I wanted to link the accounts and thinking that would be a bad idea, so I said no, but yet trying to access my beta characters gets me the message: This service account cannot be used in the current environment. Use of an account from multiple platforms requires proper registration for each platform. Visit the FINAL FANTASY XIV: Mog Station (http://sqex.to/Msp) for more information (3108 in the lower right corner). I go there and they tell my the site is unavailable until after August 27 launch. Luckily I seem to be able to use my legacy characters, though I haven't actually tired to get into the game with them yet. I wanted to play my beta characters since they are on the server where some of my old friends are playing this weekend. Sorry I'm not more helpful to the people who have already posted to this thread.
