Early access and not been able to play in beta 4. All the people i know from 1.0 and friends who have joined to 2.0 have created their chars in Moogle and now it seems to be not possible.
SE, this is not how you start a new MMO

I'm in the same boat, going to play here with friends but haven't been able to make a character. Just checking on it every hour or so while doing jobs![]()
So you blame SE for doing the right thing? It is a good thing that they close the character creation when its an extemly full server.
The character creation were OPEN at the start of EA. 4 of my friends created thier characters on Moogle.
I'm not sure how long they were open for, I logged on when servers opened, made my character then tried to enter but they were closed. So cant have been open long.
But I agree, really no need to be stressing out over this, server is full just wait.
One thing I don't understand is why creating new characters is closed for the people that did get in. Not like we can play multiple characters at the same time.
Considering Moogle is constantly under a login queue or even 'server is full' (like right now), adding MORE characters to it would be a disaster, unless they can buff up the server capacity. (And I really hope they can and will, or start offering free transfers from Moogle to a less crowded server)
The problem is that im an EU player and i cant create any character in any EU server... so what... i have to play in the NA servers???? what kind of joke is this
They didn't the right thing.
There was a bunch of EU players and SE let them choose their servers per comunity. And at least French and Spanish community choose Moogle for sure, and I've seem a lot of italians too. UK players are mainly going for Moogle too. That's just too much... But it has a cool name and a lof of communitys choose it, so now there's a problem. SE should have guide those comunities with a rational distribution and not let them handle theirselves.
Now a lot of people can't play where they want, not just because of friends but also because of language issues and because they can't be with the free companies they already joined in forums, waiting for the game, and some of them will leave the game because of that. It just screw up the plans for manny people.
Bad move by SE.
They could try to handdle it offering free transfers soon for some days and trying to led some communities to another less populated server.
I live in spain i cant cope with NA time its like 7 hours less, i got the collectors edition and i cant even chose an EU server... i bet you understand why im mad lol. They didn't the right thing.

atm im playing in Exodus because i can only create in the NA servers..i thought it would be fixed by today but i dont see the point of playing now because looks like they are not going to fix it and really im not going to play in NA servers unless they promise me a server tranfer in the next couple of weeks.
Yeah, well, by "guide" i meant something like set recomended servers per comunity, in wich case they would have made their plans with that in mind. Not just close some servers so they can't enter where they planned to do...
