If you would but only do that, it would solve a lot of your load issues. Boot those who are not playing. That's the way it works for almost every online games I played, and I know why they do it, to reduce server loads. Imagine thousands of players afking in instanced battles, dungeons or simply the starting areas...

And please accept more than 100 people in queue, I don't really want to have to spam (more server load...) your servers to be able to log in. I don't mind waiting my turn, but not having to stay in front of my computer 30/60 minutes spamming servers...

Please do something.

This is definitely something that should be in place. I was honestly surprised the first time I got pulled away from my computer for a while, came back a couple hours later to find myself still logged in (this was in Beta P3), I automatically didn't worry because I thought I would be logged out.

I would say every mmo has a character inactivity timer; Wow, Tera, GW2, Rift, Aion, the list goes on. Not only does it help with load times but we know there will be the inevitable gold seller bots popping up as they do for every new mmo, and what's to stop them from staying consistently logged in spamming from now till some random server maintenance to get rid of them.

I'm curious to know their reasoning for not having a timer in place.

Interesting...

That means the login ID remains connected after a previous error (that disconnects the character).

So the AFK-dropout should be tied to the login ID's activity, and disconnect it should it be inactive for an extended period of time.

Actually, what I can see is that 3102 is caused by the character being logged out, but the account still think it's logged in.
So if the server automatically logs out the account and character, it wouldn't produce this effect.
Also, it would be good to have queue priority when d/c'ed (excluding AFKs) for when internet crashes. But i doubt it will happen soon. I'd be happy just to have an afk kick.

The fact that this is not in an MMO at launch is horribly embarrassing. And because of it they are going to pay with their image being dragged through the dirt.
