Still cannot access main story line quest

The did in-game. Duty finder is broken. You can't advance until they fix it. Same thing as OBT.

EDIT: oh the quest giver is bugged my bad... the quest itself can't be completed either :/

Not only could I not access my main story quest, but I also got stuck and now I cant move because "the duty server was unreachable".

What the hell... hope the maintenance fixes it.

Thanks everyone- we retraced the steps and found Bartholomew with the quest above his head- it's strange still that it still wasn't in the log but it was good to learn how to retrace in case it happens again

OK I found it, in the only place no-one recommended me to go, so for anyone else who may have the issue. Go to Gridania and look in Old Gridania / Nophicas Alter (bottom left of map)
