    help needed - is code needed when arr bought from square directly?

    i bought a realm reborn a while back , the pc version from the square store, i got an order confirmation, but no email with any codes in it. do you have to put in a code if you bought the game from square enix store? as the game says its registered on my shelf in my account. im getting the message that there is no valid active service account, what do i do please someone help

    Check the email again, you should see something like this in the Order confirmation email

    Product SKU: 281295900

    Serial Number/Product Code: ABCDEF-123-ABCDEF-123
    The 6-3-6-3 product code is what you need to grab to put into http://preorder.na.finalfantasyxiv.com/ this site if you're NA, or http://preorder.eu.finalfantasyxiv.com/ if you are EU, after logging into your Square Enix Members account. After you put that code in, you'll get a 20 digit code (####-####-####-####-#### basically) you put that into this site: https://secure.square-enix.com/accou...arlytop?rgn=na

    After you log into the second site with your Square Enix ID (or email. It's what you log into Square Enix Account Management (https://secure.square-enix.com/accou...n?cont=account) with), you put that code in and then do a little confirmation and then you should be good to go.

    I really wish Square Enix hadn't made this process so convoluted and complicated. It has caused so many problems for those of us in NA/EU.

    (Also please note that this is for Early Access. Once the 27th rolls around we're probably going to have to register one of our codes again for the actual game. Not sure which code yet.)

    I'm having exactly the same problem I pre-ordered the game on 30/06 direct from the SE website and didn't receive any code from them for beta or anything. I have been in all the betas from the start of the 3rd closed beta never had to register anything. Now I'm getting no valid active service account when i try to play. I have never received a code from SE i assumed I didn't need one as I ordered direct from them?


    I hope they can re send codes if it was in the order confirmation email as that was deleted a long time ago :/

    You can also find your order info at www.findmyorder.com

    I personally never had any luck with using the Order Number/Password entry, but email address + last 5 digits worked.

    Hopefully you can get your info.
