Quest from Serpent Personnel Officer when officially joining.
When Minfilia contacts you via Linkpearl, she calls you a 'Flame of Ul'dah'
Requires correction to represent the true GC, Twin Adders. ^^;

Hi Hi Hi *kicher* FFXI Insider. Hi Hi Hi. *kicher*
2012...
"Hätte ich doch mal nur meine Klappe gehalten..."
Also confirmed!
Another thing with this quest (which I'm not sure would be corrected or not due to other story reasons) is that Fulke (the personnel officer) mentions that you'll start as a Private Third Class, even if you had a rank higher in the previous version of the game--so he'll say, "okay, private third class! blah blah blah welcome to the Order!" and then your character gets promoted to Second Lieutenant! I'm thinking this on purpose because the soldiers don't remember the members of their company from 1.0, but it's still strange to me how they mention it and call you Private Third Class and then in the next story quest, magically discover that you were ranked higher and call you Lieutenant. :P
In addition, as a Flame, during the first quest involving Wedge and Biggs, he thanks that you and "those Maelstrom lads" were there. Should be Flames, not Maelstrom.
I can't make a new thread yet, so I tacked it on here.
Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention. The Minfilia and Biggs dialogue issues will be addressed in a later update.
Unfortunately, the inexplicable promotion issue is one that the English team cannot address independently, due to design constraints. We will relay your concerns to the dev team, but I suspect this may be a necessary compromise, since the logical alternative would be that legacy characters all start as a Private Third Class, regardless of past accomplishments.
Man... I can't believe the dev team actually used to post here. What a different place this forum would be if that still happened.Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention. The Minfilia and Biggs dialogue issues will be addressed in a later update.
