Splitting/seperating the chatbox

Does anybody know how to achieve this?
In short, I want the battle seperate from the chat.
I\\'ve seen players have this layout, but I\\'m unsure how they did it.

Note: I\\'m on PS3.

The way you do it on PC is to mouse over it and click and hold and drag it out. I know PS3 has a way to turn the mouse cursor on, so I'd imagine if you can figure out what that is, it works the same way.

If I drag the corner, it expands the box.
If I drag the tab, it moves the box entirely.
What I want to do is pull the battle tab out of the chatbox, but I'm beginning to believe you can't do this.
