Ifrit Dungeon - Spawned inside after DQ'd by 90000 after some some time had passed

OK, so I was happily playing last night when I got the dreaded 90000. That was annoying as I was currently in a group in the middle of fighting Ifrit.

Trying to get back in I got the equally dreaded 3102 which lasted a while.

Once I got back in to the game I was in the starting circle staring at a yet to be agro'd Ifrit without anyone else there... yeah I quit the instance and went back to where the kidnapped folks are being held.

Point is though, something there is mighty odd. How the *Bleep* did I get spawned *inside* an instanced dungeon. Yeah, I get that was where I was when I got dq'd, but shouldn't I have spawned with the hostages as though I'd failed? No one else from the group I was with were still fighting him so it's not like I was rejoining them.

I'm just a tad confused.

Simple it probably means they never beat ifrit at all. The instance has a 90 minute timer and it won't disappear until the instance was beaten or it runs out of time. As long as it wasn't beaten the instance will still exist and you can still get back with your party mates.

Hmm... we'd tried to kill Ifrit several times... people weren't taking out the nail fast enough (DPS I'm looking at you) so we didn't have much time left when the 90000 hit and I know the 3102 lasted quite some time so not sure that's it. Didn't notice what the timer said when I got respawned there, but I'm fairly sure that had reset.... but I could be wrong.

Benefit of the doubt time I guess. If it happens again I'll have to make sure to grab a screenshot, but what are the chances of that?
