I've given up. Out of 4 of us, only 1 got onto Gil and he is rerolling on exodus with the rest of us.
Between that, the code errors, the instances being down so we can progress to any more quests and my class quest being impossible to finish because everyone kills the mob and I don't get credit, this game sucks.

Thankfully I'm bored enough to give them a month to mess around. Or at least until the next shiny thing comes along.

Still better than the $60 I blew on D3 and wanted to take it back the day I started, but not by much.

Now I have nothing against RP, in fact I love RP and think its one of the primary activities that keep players in the game. But every mmo that's been made that has a dedicated RP community has the same problem. They try to get every RP'er in the world on the same server and its a pipe dream. The result = server lock because of over crowding.

Im waiting for a RP community with a collective IQ over 80, which will be shown when they pick multiple RP servers based on location of players. Pacific RP Server, East RP Server, Europe RP Server, hell maybe even a Ausie RP Server (Australia seems to put out quite a few quality players and RP'ers).

SO, in closing, don't blame SOE on this one, the players did this one to themselves. /nods

I've heard that too. Also that reddit has a large community there with a lot of streamers. Either way, I'm not gonna get my panties in a wad about a server. We have a couple friends who were in beta that are on Gil but the world won't end if we are on another server.

They better think twice about offering paid transfers after this crap tho. Forcing people to roll on other servers then making them PAY to play with friends doesn't bode well with me. Especially in a P2P game. A F2P game is a different story but my sub needs to mean something. Retention is tops about 40% from start numbers. They will blow that up quick asking people to pay for their mistakes

Been 48 hours of this server been locked out all my friends and LS mates got here by making a toon on beta phase 4.
Any word on when you will open this server up. right now all server can make a new toon but, Giglamesh, Moggle and levithan

Queue system FTW! And an AFK/inactivity kick system to move the queue along! Better to wait these last 2 days in line with a chance of getting in then a 3 minute lottery. So far, amateurish release. I mean, they had to have the numbers of pre-order sales, wth?

I'm pretty sure Gilgamesh, leviathan and moogle have been artificially locked for new toons since just after start. Either that or it's the 7th level of hell

They said to choose another server but they never told us if we r going to be able to transfer the character. Worse communication ever... I guess the support team only speak japanese

I think they r playing "chicken" with us. They are trying to wait long enough to make sure everyone doesnt "really" want to play on Gil/Levi/Moogle to play on another server
