3102 Error needs to be fixed.

Heck, 30 seconds is too long, too. I hate to bring up WoW, but I could always log back onto that as fast as I could type my password. From what I hear, XI doesn't have this problem, either, so I'm not sure why XIV does. . .

XI had it, it just wasn't nearly as bad. After disconnecting you might get a "same character is already logged in" message, but in 8 years of XI I never had it take more than 25-45 seconds --- and I remember thinking that was frustrating...

If i remember that error is it not ISP problem? i'm sorry but i play FFXIV for hours and i have not got the issue i only got this way back in beta or maybe around before DEC update. Seem it could be packet lost or something.

It's not a question of how long you play; the issue is when a player is disconnected the game will sometimes not let you back on for 5-20+ minutes.

Error 3102 is associated with your character already being logged in.

I sometimes go 8-12 hours (full day) without DCing once. Other days, I'll get booted ("error on the game server") several times in just an hour or two. It almost always takes me minimum 4-5 minutes to be able to log back in. Not because my internet was down (or ever is), but because the game thinks my character is already logged in.

Yeah, it's not the disconnect itself--I can live with that. It's the inability to log back in for 10 minutes because my character is "already in the game" when it's clearly not.

Oh i dislike when that happen -.- i just click my char over and over too the server find out that am really not in the game. I don't understand how this issue still in the game The D/C icon is not really working also becuase when i d/c my gf see me not really d/c no icon show up.

Yes, this issue is completely unacceptable. Especially when subscription time comes around. There have been times where I d/c, wait 20 mins to log back in, d/c as soon as I log in, and have to wait yet another 20 mins. This needs to be fixed along with content.

hey sup man yea i get 3102 aswell right after the 30002 lawl so much dcga i know alot of people are not even posting they are dcing but yea that sucks when i dc i get that 3102 code but not as annoying as the 30002 dc hell
