Hello guys. Ok so, Early Access is here. Got some problems with the launcher at first, after it started working I pressed play, but then the game never responds. It just stays black and then I just have to close it. Anybody have the same problem?

Also having this issue, was posted in another thread as well. I have no idea what the issue is. If its the game itself or congestion.
Yeah. I read your post. I got trough all the launcher errors but then after I could press play the game just doesn't respond.
I got the same issue back to every beta phases, the trick was to change "CutsceneMovieOpening 0" to "CutsceneMovieOpening 1" in Documents\my games\Final Fantasy XIV A real reborn\ffxiv.cfg
but since prerelease that trick isn't working anymore!!
Looking forward for a way to fix that, want to play![]()
Problem solved by playing around with config files:
CutsceneMovieOpening 1
FPS 1 -> FPS 60
I see. Also, I cannot find this .cfg file. I go to my Programs(x86), find the FF14 folder. Then after its just a boot and game folder. I got in both folders but don't have a .cfg file. I would like some help on that too, to check if with that I can make my game work.
that cfg file is in C:\Users\<current user>\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn\
Player
Thank you. Now, I see that I can't open it with any programs, which default program shouls I use to open it?
use the notepad![]()
