Ifrit-egi dmg - Low?

Yeah like the title said; Got the Summoner job (YAY) was all hyped to go out and kill some stuff with my lil Ifrit along with my chocobo companion, only to realize that my chocobo companion did more dmg than my Iffy =(
Anyone else noticed that?

My Iffy did like 40 dmg with his standard ability >_> and my chocobo would hit for 50-60 dmg at lvl 30.

Your chocobo is equal to a full player. He is a player replacement and is treated as such.

Out of curiosity; I'm planning on playing with two buddies of mine. Will we be able to run around Eorzea building up a limit break gauge with a Chocobo forming the fourth member of our Light Party?

You won't be able to summon a Chocobo in a dungeon.

I was under the impression you could form a Light Party outside of dungeons. My friends and I haven't really had much of a chance to log on, much less at the same time, so I'm legitimately clueless to this grouping and partying stuff.

Sorry for going off topic sort of but how are you liking Summoner? I was planning on going that route. Is it just like ACN just with the extra summons or? And also, Is it still 30 ACN and 15 THM?

It works pretty much like ACN just with the extra summons, Ifrit-egi is slighty better than Carby Emerald. Yes its still ACN30/15THM

On another note: It just feels kinda 'odd' that the Summon of a Summoner only does like 25% of my total dmg, hoped that we would had to rely more on our pet, since we are a pet-job after all.
