    I had this but was my mistake cause I chose create new. Phoned them up earlier and they did the one time fix over the phone for me and gave me a new code to put into the PS store. Worked immediately so might be worth phoning them. I'm EU so it may be a bit different and in my experience it depends who you get through to on the phone but can be sorted quickly if you get someone decent.

    um... what number did you call, because i called their CA office direct line an their 800 number an both said they are closed until Monday.

    I called their UK number 0870 600 0182 but they're region specific I think so might not work. Their website is a nightmare to navigate when it comes to finding ways to contact them as it changes constantly with what ways it offers. There is a live chat option that occasionally comes up on the NA site but unfortunately I don't have a link to give you, might be your best bet if you can get to it.

    I am in the same boat. I was a 1.0 player (non-legacy) who pre-ordered a PS3 copy. During phase 4, I noticed a 2nd service account. My 1.0 character was on Service Account 1, so that's what I kept playing/creating my new character on. When I put in my pre-order key yesterday, it asked me if I wanted to merge(top option, which showed my character and old CE items from 1.0) or create a new account(bottom option). I told it to merge (top option). Now, I go to log into my PS3, and it has 3 service accounts. I am unable to log into service account 1 or 2, but am able to log into service account 3 successfully on my PS3. However, my 1.0 character is not there, nor is my phase 4 character. I am also unable to log in using my PC.

    Help? I have paid extra careful attention and read everything before clicking/linking.

    If you are american all you can do is go to the link that i posted in one of my comments on the first page an send an email an hope there is somebody in the customer service office in california this weekend who is actually looking at them, cuz so far i'm still locked out, dont know bout the other guys in here. I hope i get back in before monday but now i'm really starting to doubt it. Now I'm starting to worry more about whether my pre-order items will end up on the right account. And yes, I like you payed attention an chose the right selection, despite what others are insinuating. I clearly seen my character names when I chose which service accountm and still got stuck in this situation.

    Ok, glad this is not just me. I went ahead and submitted the request in the link you posted, saying I intended service account 1, and explained everything. Here's to hoping. In a perfect world, I'd be playing this game right now on my 1.0 character on my PC...

    Soo.. 24 Hours AFTER I sent the email... I decided to Pre-Order from Amazon and Cancel just to get my code. Not what I would like to have done... but at least I could restore my old character now.
