Major connectivitiy issues for NA region? (again?)

Had trouble getting into just the launcher...for a while was getting an error for the frontier server:

A system error has occurred: -2146697208.

Appeared to be a congestion issue...eventually managed to get in after about a dozen tries, but then after hitting the Play button I started getting getting a 2002 error from the lobby server and it crashed to desktop.

Just an aside....can we get a work around for that? Why can't we get bounced back to the launcher? Even does it when you leave the game.

Now that I'm in the title screen, I can't load character or get to the NA/EU server list. Gives an error about being "Unable to update the group NA/EU character list", and the world list is only showing JP region servers--NA/EU side is completely empty and just says "Obtaining the World List...".

I can't even get the game to start. The client crashes on me as soon as I hit play.

I can get in to the character select, but I too cannot see the NA or EU server listings (Which I play) so I'm pretty much stumped at the moment. Any feedback Square? We could use an update.

Same. It's also telling me that I have two services accounts, and that I am not registered for ps3? I totally entered my code and everything. Downloaded the new client, etc. I can't see my characters, sometimes says they don't exists, connection congestion, client crash, etc. It's something different every time I try to sign in. I want to hit something. :'[

I am having the two accounts issue myself I started a thread in tech support you should like or add that you are experiencing the same issue I am.

The US/EU servers are not available at this time. There's been no dev word as to when the problem will be resolved. If their "support" during open beta was any indication, I wouldn't be shocked if we couldn't play until official launch.

Oh, here we go. http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...-%28Aug.-24%29 << that states you're SOL if you don't see a world list. "Try again later." Nice. I appreciate that you've recognized the problem - 47 mins after launch - and aren't doing anything about it.

Well I`m on the lobby list (but I can`t see the US/EU servers...) so I guess that stinks. Did anyone get into the servers? Do we need to close the game completely and restart the launcher (took 20 minutes to defeat the launcher boss...) or can we just refresh the list by canceling and hitting start on the lobby menu? /le sigh

grr....finally got in, couldn't create new character on the desired server with friends (4 servers locked out less than an hour in...WTF?!!). So, tried to load the character from Beta....Lobby server error 3059.

Here we go again.....
