I just want to post this as a suggestion to SE support and PR departments. For pressing issues can we please strive for some sort of hourly update system for issues people are having. It can be as simple as we are still aware of said issue and we are working to correct the issue. It couldn't take but a minute or so to post something like that and will go a long way to easing the people.

Major issues like the 3102, 90000, error 3, that effect thousands of people need to be addressed. 6 hours without so much as a we know message is disheartening. Empathetic responses go a long way to keeping the people happy.
