Monitor keeps turning itself off when loading to Bowl of Embers.

Windows 7 64 bit Home Prem.
    Intel core i7 920
    GTx 295
    12gb of Ram

My monitor keeps turning off by itself with a screen message "No Signal" most of the time when i load in to Ifrit Bowl of Ember. The pc remains on while the monitor is off, i tried switching the monitor but no luck on that. It is fine when i'm not playing the game fighting ifrit, so i'm not really sure if it's the game itself or my monitor... possible my graphics card?

I remember that happening with Counter Strike (yeah yeah... it's old) and can't go past the game lobby. I think it was the monitor not being able to handle the refresh rate. Try locking it to 60Hz or 59Hz... test it out using the lifts in game and see if the monitor cuts out. If it only happens in the Ifrit cutscene might wanna try disable cutscene effects in the general settings outside the game.

I dont think its the cutscene because i have to wait for the whole party to die or win ifrit so it'll force my character out of ifrit battle, i'll have to assume they are done and force power off my pc and reboot the game just to check.

My issue doesn't occur all the time but it is annoying that it is happening often.
