I'm also getting this. Why would another code be needed?
I thought the current client was all that's required; I participated in beta phases 3 and 4.
Didn't think any game time/payment was required until official release.
What gives?

For anyone that bought their game via download I found this treasure in my email order confirmation:

Serial Number/Product Code: AAAAAA-000-AAAAAA-000

Where "AAAAAA-000-AAAAAA-000" is the code that was given to you. I thought I was fine because I registered the first 20-digit code I received when I initially got into the Beta but I had to redeem this code here to get into Early Access.

You can redeem at: http://preorder.na.finalfantasyxiv.com/ and it will give you the new 20-digit code to get into Early Access at: https://secure.square-enix.com/accou...arlytop?rgn=na.

Same problem here. I can see FFXIV registered when I go into my account on the site, but trying to login to the game gives a "No valid or active service account" error. PC version NA

this is weird.... legacy and I know I have the requirments met, but yet this shit is happening were I cant get in...if registering the beta code back in alpha and beta jacked my stuff ima be pissed and stuff....

Um... your thread has absolutely nothing to do with what this thread is talking about. Stop promoting it here. This is a thread about a "No valid or active service account" error, which even brand new players are receiving (I just purchased it a few days ago). Not wether or not you are showing Legacy status on your account.

In that case the code you entered is for the wrong region.
Look for these keywords and you ll get your answer.
