    My legacy status has been removed.

    I bought FFXIV 1.0 and paid up front for 6 months of time in early 2012. Obviously this qualified me for a legacy account, and I got emails confirming this:





    Now when I check my account information in my square enix account, I am not shown the legacy icon:



    Also during beta phase 4 I did not receive my legacy mount. I contacted square enix support but obviously they are under heavy load right now so there has been a delay which I do not begrudge. I'm just quite worried that I won't be able to join in early access.

    Has anyone encountered a similar issue?

    Are you sure that you don't somehow have more than one Square Enix account? I don't know why, but my boyfriend had two accounts for some reason. One has Legacy status and one doesn't.

    If this is true that means that you are playing on your new beta account that you would of indeed created just this month. And you are not using your 1.0 account. In which case all you would have to do is see if you can go into your account management and somehow merge or re activate your old 1.0 legacy character? I have seen this happen many times , although sorry I don't know how to fix it but it sounds like this is probably your problem, if you send SE another E-mail i would put that you might of done that to. Cause I think SE knows about this problem but if you get someone at customer service that doesn't really care than he will just say no u don't get it, and that be the end of it.

    But this would probably be the most likely cause as #1 it says you joined just this month. And #2 you have absolutely (well you have some but not alot) nothing on that character, and if you are legacy i would expect you to have allot more on a character.

    That's a really good idea, but I sign in using my email that I received those messages from. Thanks for the time though.
