[Dev HELP Please!!] Questions about going from 1.0 to 2.0...

I REALLY hope I can get a Dev's attention on this.. I'm dying for answers.

First, I know I'm not the only person wondering how exactly we upgrade/update our FFXIV 1.0 into version 2.0, but I'm willing to wait a LITTLE on this issue..

What I REALLY want to know is if I get a trial period, and how long it'll be. To explain, I bought version 1.0 like a month before it was closed, and I never even got to register it, never even made a character, so I'm wondering will I be considered in the "Welcome back" 14 days because I merely own 1.0, or will I get the new player 30 days?

Any answers will be much appreciated, Thank you!!!

The announcement about the 14 day welcome back offer had a cut off date for when your registration had to be made to get it (some time in September 2012, which I believe was the last date where people could get into v1). If you haven't registered the v1 game yet, they still do owe you the 30 day free time since you paid for it.
