I purchased the pre-order of the collectors edition of V1.0 in 2010 and still have a FFXIV account on my Square-Enix account page, however I have not been sent an access code for early access to ARR, nor am I able to log into the game at this time

Your not alone here, there are many players who are going through what your experiencing at the moment. Myself included =/
And of course SE is doing nothing to accommodate some of their longest standing subscribers, as per usual.
Collectors 1.0 owner also. Having the same issue. This is BS. Everything they posted made it sound like all we would have to do is logon for early access. Said we wouldn't need to buy anything or need a code.
That was my understanding as well. Played through all of the Beta tests with no issue. Now come to early access/release and I get to watch new players blow by me in all aspects of the game while I wait for SE to do something.

i also bought this back in 2010 and PAID them for X amount of months, i started the beta as legacy, and now its saying my account is not registered. when i click the link and enter the code it says already registered
You guys need some better reading skills.
Early access is for:
1 - Legacy players (if your SE Account doesn't show a legacy icon, you're not legacy)
2 - Pre-ordering FFXIV: ARR
It doesn't matter if it's a CE 1.0. No pre-order, no legacy, no early access. This has been common knowledge for a very long time.
Need legacy status gets early access.
To get legacy, need to have paid 3 mths subscription in v1.0.
Apparently you're not "some of their longest standing subscribers"
For the record, I don't have legacy status as well.
That's a different matter then.

Exactly the issue I am having and when I try the SE support pages I get redirected to a bunch of things that don't apply.
I paid for almost a year of service in v1.0
