Geez this thread got more pages as a necro than an original topic.
Also I do wonder which one lasted longer:
Is the original player still subbed?
Is the other person still married?

In order to answer that, I had to check their Lodestone. Considering that OP is still a level 50 Gladiator with their AF and Garuda EX ring, it seems that their experience lasted less than 6 months. It's sad that their hype died out so fast.
With that being said, it probably lasted longer than the couple's marriage.
I did share OP's excitement when this game launched. I remember playing the closed beta and I was amazed. Same with HW and SB, where I took time off to fully enjoy them. Sadly Raubahn EX held me back. -.-
EDIT:
A reminder of ARR's early access + official launch.

Jesus lighten up people lol There's nothing wrong with having a bit of fun with old threads and having a blast from the past again. I genuinely thought this was a funny thread from back in the day b/c someone would rather play XIV with a fridge full of taco bell than be married. Nothing wrong with having a little fun around here since literally all the posts I see lately is people complaining about one thing or another. Also Hi Sora! LOL
HAHAHA I did not look at the post date and thought this thread was advertising a new expansion beta which was due to start 8/17/19. Good job necromancer.
I dont understand this thread or the picture. Any1 mind explaining?
Not really. People typically don't look at the dates because, normally, threads that are on page 1 are actually current. So there is usually no need to look at the date. This is just my opinion, but wouldn't that be on the people that failed to read the date? The confusion? It's not like the date is hidden or hard to find; it's at the top of every post, and present after the thread title when they click on it. I'm sorry, but blaming Kaiva for others' inability to fully read is silly.
You're a few hours late. Last night there were 8 on page 1, and a total of 16 necro-threads on both pages 1 and 2. And no, I wasn't including the long-lasting threads. Are we talking General Discussion, or New Posts? Because, right now, at 20 threads per page, General Discussion only has 2 threads as necros; and at 25 threads per page, New Posts only has 2 threads that are necros (this is excluding the ongoing megathreads, such as the Marriage Thread, Tales of the Duty Finder, and Show Your [X] threads—since they are not necros). That’s...not 50% of the threads on Page 1.
