Also, you previously said that any thread you wanted to make has already been made. Why don't you make a thread discussing the old topics of 2013? You can then keep this all in one thread.

Really? Do you know exactly how many threads spawned between August 2013 and December 2013? There are not many current active members who have been a part of the forums for that long. There are easily over 9000 threads created in that timeframe (take a look if you don't believe me. It starts from page 1769 and goes all the way to the last page, 2264). Do you know how many different topics spawned from everything in between?

I suspect that 50% is there's an unnecessarily antagonistic pair of players who are now openly admitting to abusing the report button, and in turn, we are responding by not allowing them to cyber-bully us - yes, I am going there because at the end of the day, they seem to be offended, so why not shut the 'offending necro players up' by openly, publicly saying they're being reported multiple times on the discussion forum just because they themselves don't like it.

The other part is that, yes, some of this is a fun little game, finding something that could be pretty relevant to discuss while also reviving it in hopes of a fairly good discussion. Fun fact: I didn't know race/gender stats was an overall thing with other MMOs until recently. I found this very thread we're in to be a welcome moment of humor that is now turning into a petty argument because folks are looking for the smallest of reasons to be offended. I also didn't know, in one of my other necros, that the dev team actually gave out T-shirt to participating in specific fights (Titan HM and Odin come immediately to mind).

Perhaps you misunderstood. Instead of necroing all of the threads, you can consolidate your discussion about all of these old threads into one thread. Then everyone who is interested can partake, and you don't fill up the entire first page with necros.

Kind of like a new "Tales of the Duty Finder" thread except you discuss tales of 2013.

Oh yes, it's going too far because, rather than continue to constantly engage in doom and gloom, venting, arguing, and generally going into more negative posts than positive on a daily basis, a few of us pulled up some old threads that are fun and ripe for further discussion because a lot of what it talked about lately doesn't create a positive atmosphere. Oh, it's too far when we want to bring up some fun threads from those that came to the forums before us and bring them to a new audience.

As has been said already if you want to generate some positivity or have fun in a way that isn't something to get you moderated then make a new thread that actually has something to discuss. Right now all you necromancers are doing is trolling.

Eh....again, there's over 9000 threads...It's not like I'm presently posting a necro every day, nor am I going overboard with it. If I filled the entire front page with old threads, that'd be one thing. But I'm not doing that. So I'm still failing to see why this offends you so much when I'm not even going overboard with it, nor am I spamming the heck out of this.

Do tell who specifically I am trolling, because in every thread I've revived, I have left a comment and is quite obviously seeking discussion on what exactly I have brought back, my most recent example being the Miqo'te discussion and MMOs locking stats behind race/gender. I have not revived a single thread to grief or annoy somebody. No, what you are doing is looking for a reason to say I am trolling because I refuse to let folks that keep threatening to report me intimidate me into conforming to their standards on the forum, especially as I'm not spamming, I'm not trolling, and each of my necros attempt to bring discussion for the current group of forum goers.

I copy this from the first sticky on this forum: Please do not make a simple post just for the purpose of "bumping" a thread.

Again try to justify it however you want but you and some others are clearly in violation of the forum rules and it is, quite frankly, bothering others. Now the thread I brought back from the grave is a troll thread, albeit a poor attempt to troll but a troll nonetheless aka pointless. What Kiyashi did was honestly genuinely funny and far from pointless since it was a friendly blast from the past for some people.
