well i did create a non renewal thread in the tech support although its anything but a huge thread.

but i'm pretty sure he /she meant the thread about leveling up to post.

Well, I'm not going to read through every post's posts to see if my topic was ever mentioned... The OP doesn't mention it, so that makes my thread a different topic.

The problem is there are too many different issues that are related to the restrictions. One person may need to level up before they can even post while others can't even post even though they are leveled up. The whole thing is related to the forum restrictions and hopefully multiple topics will get someone to notice it. In the mean time this section of the forum will keep getting flooded with posts and most threads will get left behind with no one ever seeing them.

Yeah, "New Player Help" is bound to turn into 'general discussion' (as it is already leaning toward doing so on only day 2 of the forums being open) if they can't let up on these restrictions. And if they crack down on the 'off topic' threads here, then people will just abandon the forums altogether for everything aside from bug reports. It'll be a glorified bug report forum. I certainly won't be frequenting the forums at this rate.

I think maybe SE has misinterpreted our culture as being hostile, just because we're dramatic and animated. That and the rampant beta trolls (which will disappear for the most part once subscription fees start occurring). But really, I think MOST of us can have a fiery debate one moment, and laugh together the next and come off feeling like the whole thing was a positive experience.

It seems like I will have to find a good free company that has its own forums but that's going to limit who I interact with. I wonder who even suggested this daily post limit. If they were really tired of so many people posting on the beta forums they could have easily implemented this system there. It would have at least cut off a majority of the troll posts.
