And I'd like to take a minute,

I'll tell you how I became the sultan of a city called Ul'dah

In West La Noscea, born and raised,
At Lominsa where I spent most of my days
Chillin out, maxin', relaxin' all cool,
And all fishin' some stuff outside of the school
When a couple of Garleans, said we were up in no good,
Started makin' trouble in my neighborhood,
I got in one little fight with Nael and my mom got scared
And said 'You're movin with your auntie and uncle in Ul'dah'

I waited for an airship and when it came near
The license plate said 'Fresh'
And had a moogle as the pilot
If anything I could say that this airship was rare
But I thought 'Now, forget it - Yo, home to Ul'dah!'

I pulled up to a house about seven or eight,
And I yelled to the pilot 'Yo home, smell ya later, kupo!'
Look at my kingdom,
I was finally there!
To sit on my throne as the sultan of Ul'dah!
