Purchase from retail?

Hey guys, I'm looking to preorder tonight but I can only pay with paypal. Can I preorder from any of the retail locations and get a code now so I can play in early access? Thank you for your help.

I think gamestop was printing pre-order codes on the receipt.

If you order from Amazon, it seems they are still taking pre-orders but the site also says that the preorder codes can take up to 2 days so you'll most likely miss out on some of early access unless you get it almost instantly. The only way to find out would be to buy the game.

The token for early access will be emailed with instructions on 8/20/2013.

He says he can only purchase with paypal otherwise gamestop would be the way to go since it's on the receipt, even if you only put down $5.

Oh i thought the issue was the other way around. I preordered on amazon earlier today and got the preorder code within 1 minute.

Hey Zanthred, did you purchase the pc download or the pc one? It would be nice to have discs for future installment but I'm not sure I'll get the code -_-

Someone on another thread said that they emailed Amazon and Amazon was pretty quick in getting back to them with the code. If you don't get it within a couple hours, try emailing them.

I ordered the Physical copy, I have ordered both the PS3 and the PC versions on separate occasions and got the code within a minute or so both times. You also have until the 30th to play using your Early access code. After the 30th you will need to register the CD key so you may want to keep that in mind when choosing your shipping method.

Ok since this thread is alive, is the early access already live? Or is it the 27th?

Early access does not begin till 2 AM PDT tomorrow morning. So the early access period has yet to start. Early access will run from the 24th to the launch on the 27th. There will then be a 3 day grace period to enter your games cd keys.
